The unstable spider is a very dangerous opponenent, with a complete immunity to all forms of ranged attacks and a field of radiation around it, powerful units should be used in their attempt to bring this thing down. Specifically melee types, because ranged units deal no damage (provided they are using ranged attacks).
Melee units will even struggle, because it has a large field of radiation surrounding it.
